Dalvance (dalbavancin) is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections, particularly infections of the skin, lungs, urinary tract, and other areas of the body. Dalvance is often reserved for treating serious infections caused by gram-positive bacteria, particularly those resistant to other antibiotics, such as methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Dalvance is a type of antibiotic called a lipoglycopeptide, which works by disrupting the bacterial cell wall and causing the bacteria to die.
