Leqembi (lecanemab-irmb) is used for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, a progressive and degenerative brain disorder that affects memory, thinking, and behavior. Leqembi may help clear amyloid plaques, abnormal clumps of protein in the brain that are a characteristic of Alzheimer’s disease. By removing these plaques, Leqembi may slow down the progression of the disease and improve cognitive function.
