Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) is used to treat relapsing or primary progressive forms of multiple sclerosis (MS). It is used in patients with active disease, who have relapses and/or signs of active inflammation on scans.

The active substance in Ocrevus, ocrelizumab, is a monoclonal antibody (a type of protein) that has been designed to recognize and attach to a specific target called CD20 on the surface of B cells (a type of white blood cell). By targeting B cells, ocrelizumab helps to reduce their activity and helps to prevent flare-ups.
