Solu-Cortef (hydrocortisone) is used to treat a variety of conditions, including severe allergic reactions, skin conditions, and blood disorders. Solu-Cortef is a type of corticosteroid, which works by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system.
The active agent in Solu-Cortef, hydrocortisone, may be used to reduce inflammation and calm an overactive immune system. Hydrocortisone works by mimicking the effects of glucocorticoid hormones that are secreted naturally.

How it’s Administered
