Zinplava (bezlotoxumab) is a monoclonal antibody used in the treatment of an infection by a bacterium known as Clostridium Difficile. “C. difficile” bacteria produce toxins that damage the lining of the gut, causing diarrhea that may be severe. Bezlotoxumab is a monoclonal antibody, that has been designed to attach to these toxins, blocking their action, thereby preventing further damage and diarrhea from occurring.
What It Treats
Zinplava is used to threat Clostridium difficile (C. difficile).

How it’s Administered
Zinplava is administered by intravenous infusion. Zinplava infusions take about an hour.
Frequency
